The device has a main bracket frame (1) consisting of a U-shaped profile rod, which is set outwardly. A wheel carrier (2) with a running wheel (4) is inserted into lower ends of the profile rod. A receiving device (3) with an inserted guide rail is arranged below ends of the bracket frame on the running wheel. A holder for a dog harness is placed at a front end of the guide rail. A carrying strap (6) with fastening devices (9) i.e. loops, is laterally attached on an inner side of the frame. The wheel carrier is fixed at the bracket frame in different height along the frame by a locking device.
