The spindle motor has a fixed motor component and another motor component that is supported pivotably by a fluid-dynamically storage system. A unit is provided for magnetic pre-tensioning of the storage system. The unit has a ferromagnetic ring (18) that is fixed at the former motor component. The ferromagnetic ring has three connecting surfaces which are connected with the former motor component over a cohesive, positive or negative connection or a combination of connection types.
