The method involves producing a contour of a driving worm gear of a drive of a furniture for forming driving worm gear channels, where the furniture is formed from a blank made of metallic materials. Surfaces of edges of the channels are roughened, smoothened and/or structured for optimizing the surfaces after manufacturing the channels. The surfaces are optimized by a radiating process, where sand, glass beads, glass balls, ceramic bodies, steel beads, steel balls and dry ice are used as radiating units.
