The method involves contacting connection surfaces (9, 11) of an element (17) i.e. elastomer body (7), and plastic element (13). A press device (1) produces press forces between the elastomer body and the plastic element in an area of the surfaces. The elastomer body is surrounded by press elements (3, 15) of the press device outside one of connection surfaces (9). The plastic element is surrounded by the press elements outside of the other connection surface (11). The body and the plastic element are surrounded by an elastic medium e.g. plastic, silicon rubber and elastomer material. An independent claim is also included for a press device for manufacturing the composite part.
