The device has a fixing installation (5) adapted to receive a valve body (4), and comprising fixation units (6) to fix position of the body along axial and/or radial direction. A locating pin (7) is installed in a guide bore (3) of the body to coaxially align a valve seat (1) of a valve part (2) relative to the bore. A press punch (8) in the installation slides axially relative to the installation and comprises a press body (9) to deform plastically the valve body. The deformation of the valve body produces connection by force and/or by shape of the valve part with the valve body. An independent claim is also included for a method for connecting a valve part to a valve body.
