The tire inflating station (1) has a filling device (7) with a carrier plate (8) at its lower side. The filling rings are fastened one behind the other at the lower side of the carrier plate in a gas proof manner in the moving direction of the carrier plate. The carrier plate has a pass through opening (11) within the filling ring. Another opening is connected to the filling opening of the filling device in each of the two working positions of the carrier plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling a tubeless tire with a gas under pressure using tire inflating station.
