The frame component (1) has a cross beam section (4) through which the longitudinal supports are connected with each other. The cross beam section extends in a direction (Y). An energy-absorbing deformation section (5) is provided which extends in another direction (X) perpendicular to former direction. The frame component is fastened at the longitudinal supports by the energy-absorbing deformation section. The frame component is formed in the form of a single-piece extrusion profile which is extruded in a third direction (Z) perpendicular to the former and latter directions.
