The structure has a retaining element provided for holding a pre-mountable element. Fastening parts e.g. laminar adapters (36), and mounting flanges (38) are provided for attaching the structure to a body of a passenger car. A profile frame (10) is formed from hollow profiles i.e. tubing profiles (12-30), and a two-dimensional element (32) is fastened to the profile frame. The profile frame is molded with plastic and formed by an interior high pressure transforming component. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a passenger car.
