The device (3) has an LED arranged on a printed circuit board, and a diaphragm adjustable by a drive unit e.g. piezomotor such as piezo-stepper motor, and arranged adjacent to the LED and/or a micro lens associated to the LED. A screen (4) is guided on a support by a guiding unit, where the support carries the LED and/or the lens. The support is the printed circuit board and/or cooling body associated to the board. The guiding unit and/or the drive unit are fastened on the support. Control lines are provided for controlling the drive unit on the board. The screen is designed as a perforated screen.
