The method for the production of sheet metal plates with partial different stability characteristics, comprises heating a plate (22) at a temperature that is greater than a Ac 3temperature, where the heated plate is brought to a shaping tool (16) and then shaped and quenched, and partial zones of the sheet metal plates are annealed through temperature control. The plate is cooled after heating in a conveyor plant (14) arranged upstream to the shaping tool with an upper and/or lower coolable conveyor roller (24, 25) related to the plate, partially at a temperature below the Ac 3temperature. The method for the production of sheet metal plates with partial different stability characteristics, comprises heating a plate (22) at a temperature that is greater than a Ac 3temperature, where the heated plate is brought to a shaping tool (16) and then shaped and quenched, and partial zones of the sheet metal plates are annealed through temperature control. The plate is cooled after heating in a conveyor plant (14) arranged upstream to the shaping tool with an upper and/or lower coolable conveyor roller (24, 25) related to the plate, partially at a temperature below the Ac 3temperature. The partial zones are cooled at a temperature below the Ac 1temperature. The sheet metal plates are produced from an annealing steel with a number of 22Mn55, and/or heated at a temperature over the Ac 3and the partial zones are cooled in the conveyor plant at 600-400[deg] C. The cooled upper and/or lower conveyor rollers are height-adjustably arranged. The individual conveyor roller of the conveyor plant is heated. The cooled and/or heated conveyor roller causes through contact pressing force control in addition to a plate thickness reduction. An independent claim is included for a device for the production of sheet metal plates with partial different stability characteristics.
