The method for producing pellets, comprises applying powder particles on gradually increasing core by means of a liquid binder under formation of a pellet, where the core is toroidally circulated in a gas atmosphere in orbital manner to form a virtual hollow ring-like circulating bed. The liquid binder is sprayed in the center of the circulating bed on the circulating core, and the powder particles are fed under a centrally conducted gas jet to the center region of the circulating bed. The core is circulated in a gas atmosphere under pressure of p 1. The method for producing pellets, comprises applying powder particles on gradually increasing core by means of a liquid binder under formation of a pellet, where the core is toroidally circulated in a gas atmosphere in orbital manner to form a virtual hollow ring-like circulating bed. The liquid binder is sprayed in the center of the circulating bed on the circulating core, and the powder particles are fed under a centrally conducted gas jet to the center region of the circulating bed. The core is circulated in a gas atmosphere under pressure of p 1and the powdery particles are fed under a pressure of p 2not equal to p 1to the central region of the circulating bed. The pressure p 2is smaller than p 1. The powdery particles are fed into the central gas jet in fluidized manner. The liquid binder is fed over an annular nozzle (30) to the circulating bed that centrally protrudes into hollow ring-like circulating bed and sprays a horizontal extending spray griddle. The gas jet containing the powder particles is vertically fed from top into the circulating bed in immersed manner. The gas jet containing the powder particles is fed by a tube that flows in interval over the annular nozzle. In the tube, a ventilator is arranged over which the head of the annular nozzle is freely blown. The head of the annular nozzle is formed as cone-shaped body, where the flow media directs in radially outward manner. The cone-shaped body is rotatable. An independent claim is included for pellets having core.
