The assembly (12) has hatchback parts (14, 16) pivotable around a common pivot axis (18) by a control drive (24) i.e. electrical spindle drive, between opening and closing positions, where one of the parts includes a rear window. An end region (26) of the drive is connected with the former part and another end region (28) of the drive is connected with the other part. The former part is locked by a locking device (30) in the opening position against a body of a motor vehicle (10). The latter part is locked against the body in the closing position by another locking device (34).
