Transverse type magnetic circuit arrangement for linear and rotary applications for e.g. drive motors, has stator elements exhibiting same pole pitch, where field compression opposite to magnets are obtained
The arrangement has stator elements exhibiting a same pole pitch in sections. An excitation field causes reciprocal effects with electric currents in an exciter part (ET) e.g. rotor, and a coil-supporting reaction part. The arrangement is excited by six-pole permanent magnets (M), where field compression opposite to the axially polarized magnets are obtained around a factor of two by application of a collector principle in an air gap area. Conductive elements of the exciter and the coil-supporting reaction parts guide magnetic flow and face each other at the air gap.
