The mirror device (1) has a mirror plate (2), at which the light rays are reflected in the direction of a front field of the mirror plate. An electric screen (4) is arranged in an area of the rear side of the mirror plate. The electric screen is mounted at a fastening plate (3) which has a recess (11), through which a light beam of the electric screen is conveyed in the front field. The fastening plate is arranged in the area of the rear side of the mirror plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a mirror device.
