The lamp (LE) has a housing (G) comprising a supply air opening (ZO) and an exhaust air opening (AO). A light source (LQ) is provided in the housing, and an electrical driven ventilator (LU) sucks air from the housing via the exhaust air opening. The ventilator and the exhaust air opening are arranged above the light source, where distance between the supply air opening and the exhaust air opening is larger than seventy five percentage of maximum inner diameter (ID) of the housing. The ventilator exhibits power less than five watts and is switched in dependent of temperature in the lamp.
