The stiffening structure has three-dimensional struts (6) arranged on a skin field, where the struts are made of fiber-reinforced composite material. The struts form multiple crossing areas (1) lying in a plane. A connecting element (24) is arranged in the crossing area. The connecting element partially has the geometric shape of the body sections of the struts. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a stiffening structure.
