The thin-walled multi-part reactor vessel has a break point for releasably connecting at a container portion with another container portion. A precision-stiffening ring (R) has a metal profile section bent to the ring. The ends of the ring are connected to each other. The enclosed ring has a forged structure circulating from a part profile section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a peripherally enclosed precision-stiffening ring for a thin-walled multi-part reactor vessel; and (2) an apparatus for manufacturing a thin-walled multi-part reactor vessel.
