The post connector (1) has a base portion (3) that is fastened to a frame bar, and is inserted into a hollow cross-section of a post at a mounting portion (4). An outer flange is formed at the longitudinal side of the frame bar and a groove portion is fixed at the opposite side edge so that the base portion is secured between outer flange and groove. The positive guide of the base portion and mounting portion is formed so that the base portion is moved relative to the longitudinal axis (L) of the frame bar when joining the base portion with the mounting portion.
