The device (1) has a base (10) for receiving light sources i.e. multi-chip LEDs (11, 14). A light guide body (12) with a laminar extension is received in the base. One of the light sources irradiates light into the light guide body. Another light guide body (13) with a laminar extension is received in the base, where the latter laminar extension is designed approximately parallel to the laminar extension of the former light guide body. The other light source irradiates the light into the latter guide body. The LEDs emit the light with different light wave lengths.
