The arrangement has two pairs of support arms, where ends of each pair lying remote from load are supported on a chassis frame (22,24) by a rotating device. Other ends of each pair turned towards the load are either connected with the load or connected with each other by a support for supporting the load. The rotating device has receptacles or is connected with such thing, by which the support arms are supported in axially movable manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting heavy load.
