The device has a sensor unit (3) provided for air pressure, for lip voltage and for tongue pressure that are produced by respiration. The sensor unit measures actual values that are transmitted to a feedback unit (2). A person who uses a mouthpiece (1) is made more viewable/more audible while the feedback unit is formed to be more viewable/more audible so that the person is displaced with the help of the feedback unit into a position. Interaction of the position on the mouthpiece is changed such that the actual values adapt to desired values. An independent claim is also included for a method for training of coordination of breath and articulation musculature.
