The compensation device has compensation quantity computation unit (10) that computes the compensation quantity of feedback positions of encoder. A position interval evaluation unit (20) determines the position interval of compensation quantity of feedback positions of encoder. A compensation quantity modification unit (30) modifies the compensation quantity of feedback positions of encoder by using various weight values.
