Carbon nano tube-ultrasound quick microphone for use as airborne sound detector to detect ultrasonic signals in air for e.g. medical therapy, has freely supported graphical structure for electrical conductively connecting electrodes
The microphone has a freely supported graphical structure for electrical conductive connection of electrodes and formed as a single wire, fiber or cable with a set of small carbon nano tubes (10), where the graphical structure is formed as metallic contact pads (20). The wire, fiber or cable is arranged in a recess in a cabinet. A sealing compound and/or a ceramic compound i.e. low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) compound, produce electrical contact of the carbon nano tubes with terminal structures of a support substrate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a carbon nano tube-ultrasound quick microphone (2) a method for non-destructive material testing or medical diagnostic or therapy using ultrasound.
