The assembly (10) has a front seat row (11) and a rear seat row (12) with seat units (13) arranged next to each other, where the seat rows are arranged one behind the other. Each of the seat units has a seat part (14) and a seat back (15), where a part i.e. two-piece shifting element (16) such as floor element, storage element with drawers and sheds, and plate element with attachment units, of the seat back of the rear seat row is changeable in position for enlarging a holding area. A guide rail (18) is provided for movement of the part of the seat back in the region of a cardan tunnel.
