The device i.e. household cooling device (1), has ice pieces producing device for producing ice pieces and comprising a tank (13) with liquid and an immersing element (11) immersed in the liquid to freeze the liquid on surface of the immersing element. The immersing element is heat-conductively connected with an evaporator surface of a refrigerant cycle. The immersing element is thermally attached to a cold side (37) and a warm side (38) of a thermoelectric cooling device (12a) i.e. Peltier element.
