The arrangement has a capacitor (C1) switched parallel to a series arrangement from a consumer (D2-D5) and a resistance element (RShunt). A coupling unit (T1) couples the capacitor with a voltage source (VAC) when the voltage, which lies at the capacitor, lies below a predetermined value. A decoupling unit (T2) decouples the capacitor from the voltage source when the voltage lying at the capacitor lies above the predetermined value. The coupling unit comprises a transistor (T1) switched in series to the capacitor.
