The pulper has a container (1) and a rotor (4) for circulating a fibrous material suspension (F) that is available in the container, where the rotor is arranged in container and is coupled with an electric drive (3). A drive shaft (5) is directly connected with the rotor. The drive shaft is supported at outer side of the drive. The drive shaft is supported at two points that are spaced axially.
