The method involves conducting a measure for damping oscillation at an analog and electrically controlled hydraulic valve (2), where damping measures takes place according to situation. Magnetic force is produced over a pre-control current of an electrical control driver (1) for valve oscillation. The damping situation is detected over actual position of a valve lifter (5) without sensor data by alternating current (AC) and/or by AC voltage induced in a valve coil (3). The AC and/or the AC voltage are detected by the control driver. An independent claim is also included for a hydraulic motor car pressure control device comprising a hydraulic valve.
