The evaporator has a humidification tub (1) filled with water (6), and an absorbent body (4) for projecting into the water and firmly connected with a front side of a rear wall (3) of the evaporator. The absorbent body exhibits high capillarity, where the evaporator is made of microfiber textile, plastic or metal. The absorbent body is glued with adhesive containing silicone, where the evaporator is secured at a heating element with magnets. The humidification tub with side walls (2) is constructed such that water does not rest against the heating element.
