The device (200) has a hybrid radiator (201) for conducting airflow (203), and a secondary medium circuit (205) circulated between the radiator and a heat transmitter (202). Supplementary cooled down secondary media are supplied to the radiator by a bypass for inner recuperation. A mixing valve e.g. three-way valve, is arranged in the secondary circuit, and a flow switch is provided in the secondary circuit. A switch of the airflow is provided for switching counter current to direct current between the secondary circuit and the airflow of the transmitter. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a device for conditioning hybrid combustion air.
