The spindle (1) has a guard or working scaffold arranged with a spindle body (3) that reaches a retaining box (16) at a free end of a guard cross beam (2). A spindle nut is arranged in the guard cross beam, where internal thread of the spindle nut is combined with an external thread of the spindle body. The spindle nut is made of plastic, and consists of two mirror-symmetric nuts parts that are connected with each other. A compound plane is provided between the mirror-symmetric nuts parts through a metal pin that is engaged with a turn thread of the spindle body.
