Device for digesting cellulose- or hemicellulose-lignin compounds to operate a biogas plant with subsequent electricity- or gas-production, is claimed. The energy requirement of the system is provided by (a) biogas, (b) waste heat of a block-type thermal power station, (c) waste heat of gas processing and/or (d) electricity generated from the block-type thermal power station.
