The camera (1) has a memory unit (3) for storing a control program (2), and a software interface (5) formed in the program, where software modules (6, 8, 18) i.e. streaming framework elements, are merged into the program over the software interface. A memory area (7) is reserved in the memory unit for one of the software modules, and a data interface (4) loads (14) the software module into the memory area. A data processing unit (9) is formed for integration (10) of the software module into the program and comprises a decryption unit (13) that decrypts the encrypted software modules. An independent claim is also included for a method for reconfiguring a program of a thermal image camera.
