The car (1) has a harvest unit for harvesting grapes, and two harvest containers (4a) backward tiltably supported for emptying the containers. A harvest output device (7) comprises a linear transport unit (7b) e.g. conveyor belt and screw conveyor, and a gutter-shaped receptacle (7a) and is arranged such that the harvest container are emptyable by tilting into the harvest output device. The transport unit laterally releases the grapes from the harvest output device via a left side or a right side of the car in a travel direction. The transport unit extends transverse to the travel direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for emptyingc harvest containers of a harvest car for harvesting grape.
