The cam follower arrangement has two cam followers which are arranged adjacent to each other. The cam followers are supported with their one end on a stationary swivel axis (8). The cam follower stays in contact with its open end with a valve shaft (1) of a charge cycle valve of the internal combustion engine. The active supporting points (9,10) of a cam follower is so selected on the swivel axis that a linear slope or straight line is made between the supporting points of the contact point between cam followers and cams and at the center of the valve shaft of the charge cycle valve.
