The method involves providing a carrier (14) with an angular part (26) and a component (12) with another angular part (28), where the former angular part includes a pair of angular regions (30, 32) and the latter angular part includes a pair of angular regions (34, 36). Adhesive is applied between the angular regions of one of the corresponding angular parts. The angular parts are passed relative to each other into a mounting direction in a final position, where the adhesive is moved into an adhesive bed between the angular regions of the other corresponding angular part. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for joining an angular part with another angular part.
