Food composition comprises starch containing dough mass comprising potato puree and water, and further at least one binding agent and at least one hardening agent. The hardening agent is suitable for stabilizing the dough mass into desired shape around a carrier. The raw product present on the carrier is supplied to a cooking device. An independent claim is also included for producing a foodstuff with potato starch and further additives, comprising (i) preparing the dough mass by mixing the potato ground mass with water, hardening agent, binding agent and optionally other ingredients, (ii) molding the dough mass around the carrier, (iii) hardening the dough mass to a raw product, (iv) supplying the raw product to a cooking device and (v) heating the raw product present on the carrier to an end product.
