This International Patent Application, PCT Int. Appl. WO 2013/92,276 authored by M. Van Deurzen, et al of Unilever N.V.; Unilever PLC; Hindustan Unilever Ltd.; Conopso, Inc., D/B/A Unilever, Netherlands, dated June 27, 2013 describes an invention that relates to a detergent composition consisting of glutamic-n,n-diacetate (GLDA) water and a bleaching agent. Additionally, this invention relates to a detergent composition that contains 20-99.7 wt.% of a continuous phase containing GLDA, water and optionally other components. It also contains 0.3-80 wt.% of a dispersed phase that contains a minimum of 0.3% of bleach particles by weight of the composition; these particles have a particle size of a minimum of 10 mp. The continuous phase contains a minimum of 10 wt.% GLDA and a minimum of 10% water, and the weight ratio of GLDA to water lies in the range of 5:6 to 5:1. The composition of this invention gives the advantage that the bleach agent remains stable even though the composition contains a significant amount of water.
