The detector (10) has a sensor element (12) arranged in a housing (13) and producing an electrical output (I) based on radiation (30) that is incident via a spatial detection area (18) of the sensor element. A reflectance arrangement (27) is arranged in the housing, and partly reflects input radiation (26) penetrating into the housing by an entry port (25), where the reflected radiation is emitted on the detection area. The reflectance arrangement comprises a reflecting surface portion and focal spots that are arranged such that the radiation arrives into the detection area of the element. The housing and the reflectance arrangement are formed of a metal body i.e. aluminum body.
