The seat has a seat part designed as a cushion (2) and side flanges (6, 7) consisting of a foam member. The flanges are held on a cushion shell (4) and connected with a side flange support (11), which is projected into a cavity (8) of the flanges. Pneumatic actuatable air chambers (9) for an outlining of the side flanges are arranged in the cavity. The foam member is lined within the cavity with a non-woven fabric (10) that is connected with the foam member. The fabric comprises longitudinal slots (S) spaced at a distance to each other in an adjusted area (F) that is directed to the chambers.
