The seat (1) has a seat part (2) provided with a seat surface (3) and divided into seat part elements (7) in a transverse direction (16). An air bellows (10) is arranged between the part elements for moving the part elements in a longitudinal direction (17) for magnification of expansion of the seat surface in the longitudinal direction. An auxiliary air bellows moves the part elements in the longitudinal direction for reduction of the expansion of the seat surface in the longitudinal direction. An air pump (13) and an air line (14) blow the air bellows and the auxiliary air bellows. The seat part elements are designed as movable front seat part elements (8) or fixed rear seat part elements (9).
