Gearshift lever for gearbox of motor vehicle i.e. car, has upper lever part swung around pivotal axis of lever and connected with switching knob, and lower lever part axially and movably supported to upper lever part
The lever (1) has a switching knob (6) arranged at an end of a region, and a transmission unit (9) arranged at another end of the region, where the lever is swung around a pivotal axis (8) of the lever, and the lever length is changed by relative movement of upper and lower lever parts (2, 3). The transmission unit transfers switching motion of the lever to a gear operation component of a gearbox. The upper lever part i.e. pipe, is swung around the pivotal axis and connected with the knob. The lower lever part is axially and movably supported to the upper lever part.
