The device has stationary magnets e.g. disk magnet, ring magnet or electromagnet, arranged in relation to a conductor board, and a set of magnets movable in relation to the conductor board. Inductors (L1-L32) determine a position of the movable magnets. The inductors are formed as a coil that is arranged on the conductor board. The coil is connected with an oscillator (1), where an output signal of the oscillator has a frequency based on a relative position of the movable magnets to the coil. The output signal of the oscillator is connected with a microprocessor.
