Angular position determining method for crankshaft of internal combustion engine, involves detecting position of one determination unit relative to another unit by detection unit when determined angular position is reached
The method involves connecting a piston with a crankshaft along a direction of movement of the piston in a corresponding cylinder of a housing i.e. crankcase, by rotating the crankshaft. An angular position i.e. top dead point, of the crankshaft is determined based on movement of the piston. A position of one determination unit i.e. hole, is detected relative to another determination unit by a detection unit i.e. camera, when the determined angular position is reached, where each determination unit determines the angular position of the crankshaft.
