The method involves connecting a piston with a crankshaft along a direction of movement of the piston in a corresponding cylinder of a housing i.e. crankcase, by rotating the crankshaft. An angular position i.e. top dead point, of the crankshaft is determined based on movement of the piston. A position of one determination unit i.e. hole, is detected relative to another determination unit by a detection unit i.e. camera, when the determined angular position is reached, where each determination unit determines the angular position of the crankshaft.
