The housing (4) has a motor volume (300) and an air inlet that is provided with air filter (6). An air channel is provided to connect the motor volume with the air inlet. The air channel is discharged in floe direction of air flow before the air filter. A cooling duct (51,54) is provided to guide a part of the air flow to the motor volume. An independent claim is also included for a fan, particularly for a heating, ventilating and air conditioning system of a vehicle.
