Device for realization of diamagnetic levitation produced by magnetic field without using superconductive bodies, has diamagnetic float element forming convex surface when seen from downside and floating in magnetic field
The device has a diamagnetic float element (4) floating in a magnetic field that is produced by a radial-symmetrical magnet assembly (1). The magnet assembly forms a concave surface (101) when seen from above and the diamagnetic float element forms a convex surface (401) when seen from downside. An optical measurement device (6) e.g. three-beam interferometer and/or laser interferometric vibrometer, measures a change in position of the diamagnetic floated element by light reflection at a mirror (5) in a non-contact manner. The diamagnetic float element is formed by a socket pad.
