The device has fluff sieves (18,20), where the latter fluff sieve is heated for pyrolytic decomposing of a part of the fluff that is collected at the latter fluff sieve. The device has a heating unit, by which the thermal heat is transferable for pyrolytic decomposing of the part of the fluff on the latter fluff sieve. A sieve element of one of the fluff sieves is formed as heating element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a laundry dryer with an air channel; and (2) a method for removing the fluff from a fluff sieve of a device for collecting the fluff.
