The system has lining elements made of wood-based materials, and connectors (4) for fastening the lining elements on a support construction. The connectors form a releasable connection between the construction and the lining elements, where the connection is made with a lower side of the lining elements. The connectors comprise a latch (6) that is inserted into a groove provided in the construction or in the lining elements. A fastening device (17) fastens the connectors at the lining elements or the construction so that rotation of the connectors around a rotation axis is possible.
