The method involves conducting cooling air by a water cooled heat exchanger, and detecting cooling air temperature (T-K). Water is supplied into the heat exchanger depending on the detected cooling air temperature if a limit temperature is (T-G) exceeded. The detected cooling air temperature is controlled in the heat exchanger, where the limit temperature lies between 25 and 28 degree Celsius. The heat exchanger is provided over a drinking water terminal, and inflow of cooling air is prohibited in the heat exchanger when frozen temperature is dropped down. An independent claim is also included for a cooling system for cooling a server room, comprising a supply line.
