The light (10) has a lamp housing (12) that is in the form of a profile which forms a receiver for light emitting units (22). Two conductors supply voltage to the light emitting units that comprise a LED module. The conductors are parallel to each other and arranged at the receiver in a longitudinal direction of the lamp housing. The light emitting units are arranged in the receiver and contact the conductor. A harpoon rod (18) projects away at a side wall (16) of the lamp housing for plugging the light to a front side of a shelf (20). The housing is made of metal such as aluminum. An independent claim is also included for a furniture comprising two conductive elements.
